Riveting and Nailing are operations performed with the aim of joining two segments of metal or wood.
Nailers and Riveters to join two separate parts
A few simple operations to obtain a solid, stable and long-lasting result
Nailer: what it is and how it works
It is a tool used to drive nails into wood or other materials.
With the classic pistol shape, nailers can be operated by percussion or by shooting. This shooting can be sequential or continuous: in the first case, the nail is fired, manually, only when the gun's nozzle is positioned above the fixing point, while in the second, by keeping the trigger pressed, it is possible to fire a burst of nails, all in the same fixing point, with a single operation.
Riveter: what it is and how it works
This is a tool used to join together sheet metal and/or plastic sheets of modest thickness and partially overlapping by means of rivets.
The most specific ones have a characteristic pliers shape, but it is also possible to find riveters with the more common gun shape.
This machine applies strong pressure to the riveted nail to split it near the tip and to allow the cap and bottom joint to come together to make an extremely strong bond between two materials.
